Rate- 60/hr on W2
Location- Chicago, IL (ony 6 days per month)
Notes/Qualities Needed:
- Strong Agile PO (User stories, prioritization, backlog, agile methodology)
- ServiceNow background that’s expansive from ITSM to CSM, HRSD, etc. Can get in the weeds/talk to talk but won't need to come from a dev background.
- Experience/knowledge of CMDB
- Enterprise Retail nice to have
- Local preferred
- Can break down stories
- Understands acceptance criteria
- Can walk along with architects to drive solutions
Job Description
Position Summary:
Client is seeking a skilled and experienced ServiceNow Product Owner to support and enhance the ServiceNow platform as the team builds out key deliverables for 2024 and beyond. This role will focus on improving the team’s sprint planning, user story development, and backlog management while aligning with clients disciplined product ownership framework.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of ServiceNow and agile processes.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, with a focus on ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story development.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and third-party vendors.
- Experience managing CMDB processes, workflows, and other integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
- Excellent communication, prioritization, and leadership skills, with the ability to drive team alignment.
- Familiarity with ITSM, HR, and Finance processes and how they align with ServiceNow.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist) are strongly preferred.
